Beginning at 7pm on Bedford Rd., and Romer Ave., the parade proceeds to Memorial Plaza, Manville Rd., Grove St., and Edgewood Ave., ending at the Washington Avenue firehouse. Please advise your patrons of the parking regulations for that day.

Pleasantville NY Farmers Market Annual Phelps Corn Roast

Annual Phelps Corn Roast This Saturday September 5, 2015
450 ears of just picked corn will be generously supplied by Gajeski Produce and Mead Orchards early Saturday morning. Those get shucked, by a hardcore team of volunteers, to be ready for the grill by 10am. That is when the Roasted Corn King (Mr. Pono Wong), will begin grilling and serving plain or buttered cobs of corn to the first 450 takers, all for just the price of a smile! Be sure to thank Gajeski Produce and Mead Orchards by purchasing some of their wonderful, late summer produce (especially corn) and fruit.

Pleasantville NY Community Garden

The Pleasantville Community Garden at St. John’s Church is an organization dedicated to battling hunger in Westchester.  This year the Pleasantville Community Garden has partnered with the Pleasantville High School in a unified fight against hunger in Westchester. They will allow the PCG to bring volunteers to the HS garden this summer to grow and harvest our own vegetables. We are very grateful for this opportunity the school has given to us.
