The Rotary Club of Pleasantville NY Pancake Breakfast

The Rotary Club of Pleasantville proudly presents the annual PANCAKE BREAKFAST to benefit the Community Scholarship Fund, Saturday, September 22, 8 am -12 noon at the Pleasantville Middle School Cafeteria. Adults  $10. Senior Citizens  $6. The CSFP provides financial assistance to scholastically worthy Pleasantville residents who have been accepted by institutions of higher learning or professional training.

Children and Students grades K-12 $6. ALL YOU CAN EAT MENU! Pancakes, Sausages, Eggs, Coffee, Orange Juice, Milk.

Mount Pleasant Public Library – Sushi Demonstration Monday, March 26, 2018

Yoshimi Arai will demonstrate how to make sushi rolls, traditional rolls (thick roll and thin roll) and California rolls (inside out roll). The demonstration will also include a short lecture on the history of sushi. Their will be samples for tasting.

Yoshimi Arai learned to cook and present food from her mother who loved cooking since she was a child in Japan. After moving to the United States in 1998, she realized that although there was a great appreciation and interest of Japanese cooking styles, few people were familiar with the basics of Japanese cooking.
Yoshimi has the passion for conveying the knowledge and wisdoms of Japanese cooking through her classes.
