The walkable downtown is also home to a diverse dining scene, boutique shops and bookstores, and even one of the country’s premier sports facilities.

10 a.m. Kick off your weekend with a visit to the Pleasantville Farmers’ Market (40 Romer Ave), the area’s largest indoor market, with more than 40 vendors. Grab some breakfast — maybe a freshly baked waffle from Pika’s Farm Table, an oversized breakfast cookie from  Red Barn Bakery, or an Aba’s Falafel — then shop for root vegetables, humanely raised meats, jams, honey, cheeses, and more.>>

Honoring Pleasantville High School Football Champs With Parade

The Village of Pleasantville is hosting a parade on Sunday, Dec 3rd at 11:15 AM in honor of the NYS Champion Pleasantville High School Football Team. The parade will kick-off at the intersection of Wheeler Avenue and Bedford Road and proceed up Bedford Road to Romer Avenue where it will march toward the High School circle.

The team captured the Class B championship on Sunday, November 26th, in a 28-14 victory over Chenango Forks at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse.

Music in the Village of Pleasantville NY

Music in the Village, Saturday, December 9th, 2017 Pleasantville High School Camerata singers will visit shops throughout the Downtown business area from 10 am to noon.

The Holiday Instrumental Ensemble with musicians from Pleasantville High School will perform at the bandstand in Memorial Plaza, 11am to noon and in the Old Village from 1 to 2 pm.
The instrumentalists will be joined at the bandstand by the Camerata singers at 11:45am. Seasonal music will play in Nonna pocket park and in the Old Village, 9:30am to 5pm.

Santa Claus is coming to Pleasantville NY

Santa Claus is coming to Pleasantville to help us celebrate the holidays on Small Business Saturday, November 25th.

The Chamber will host a 2-hour (10am to 12pm) free “Pictures with Santa” event in Memorial Plaza. Donna Mueller, Pleasantville’s own “Best of Westchester” award winning photographer will take photos of children with Santa, atop a 1917 Model “T” Fire Engine.
