The Village of Pleasantville is hosting a parade on Sunday, Dec 3rd at 11:15 AM in honor of the NYS Champion Pleasantville High School Football Team. The parade will kick-off at the intersection of Wheeler Avenue and Bedford Road and proceed up Bedford Road to Romer Avenue where it will march toward the High School circle.
The team captured the Class B championship on Sunday, November 26th, in a 28-14 victory over Chenango Forks at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse.

The Pleasantville Garden Club’s November 3rd, meeting will feature a presentation on Fall and Thanksgiving Flower Arranging by Michael Derouin, director of floral design at McArdle’s, Connecticut’s largest florist. The presentation will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Pleasantville Presbyterian Church 400 Bedford Road. Admission is free. All are welcome.

The Pleasantville Community Garden at St. John’s Church is an organization dedicated to battling hunger in Westchester. This year the Pleasantville Community Garden has partnered with the Pleasantville High School in a unified fight against hunger in Westchester.
